RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO
MAKE DEPOSITS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT
CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Craig A. Graves, in his capacity as City
9
I Treasurer of the City of San Bernardino, is authorized to invest
land reinvest surplus funds of the City of San Bernardino, and to
I
I; sell or exchange securities, in accordance with Sections 53600
I
through 53609 of the Government Code of the State of California.

SECTION 2. The City Treasurer is authorized to deposit any
13 of the instruments described in Section 53608 of the Government
14 Code in any of the depositaries described in that section.

SECTION 3. Any depositary selected by the City Treasurer is
16 authorized to accept for deposit any of the instruments described
17 in Section 53608 of the Government Code, and to comply with any
18 written order relating to such deposit which is executed by the
19 City Treasurer or his authorized deputy.

SECTION 4. Resolution Nos. 5626 and 9191 of the City of San
21 Bernardino are repealed.
22 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
23 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
