A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ORDER THE VACATION OF PORTIONS OF UNIVERSAL AVENUE, TRUSCON AVENUE, AND
POR5CHE AVENUE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby declares its intention to order the vacation of portions
of Universal Avenue, Truscon Avenue, and Porsche Avenue, in said City,
which said portion more particularly is described as follows:
All of Universal Avenue lying Southeasterly of a line which
is parallel with and 50.00 feet South of and measured at
right angles to the centerline of Revere Avenue, and all of
that certain unnamed street, now known as Porsche Avenue,
and all of Truscon Avenue as said streets are delineated on
the map of Tract 3398 as per plat thereof recorded in Book
46 of Maps, pages 14 and 15, records of the County Recorder
of San Bernardino County, State of California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM, those portions of Universal Avenue and
Truscon A~enue lying within a strip of land 60.00 feet wide,
and being 30.00 feet on each side of the following described
centerline:
Commencing at the intersection of the centerlines of said
Revere Avenue and Universal Avenue; thence South 310 28' 30"
East along the centerline of Universal Avenue, a distance of
50~OO feet to'thi!'TruePoint of Beginning, said point being
the beginning of a tangent curve, concave to the West and
having a radius of 700.00 feet; thence SOijtherly along said
curve through a central angle of 120 26' 32" a distance of
152.01 feet to the beginning of a reverse curve, concave to
the Northeast and having a radius of 430.00 feet; thence
Southeasterly along said curve through a central angle of
480 22' 02", a distance of 362.99 feet to the Point of
Termination.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM, the Northeasterly 10.00 feet of Truscon
Avenue and Porsche Avenue, said 10.00 feet being adjacent to,
parallel with and measured at right angles to the Southwesterly
line of Kendall Drive, 80.00 feet wide.
Containing 2.19 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino, in vacating the above described portion of said streets,
elects to proceed under and in accordance with the provisions of

the "Street Vacation Act of 1941", being Division 9, Part 2, of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 2:30 P.M., on the 17th day of November,
1980, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, San Bernardino, California,
be, and the same hereby is fixed as the time and place when and where all
persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear
before the said Mayor and Common Council and offer evidence in relation
thereto. For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of the here-
inbefore described portion vacation of the hereinbefore described portion
of said streets, reference is made to that certain map marked "Plan No.
5873" approved October 27, 1980, on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said City.
SECTION 4. That the City Engineer of the City of San Bernardino
hereby is directed to cause Notices of Street Vacation to be posted as
required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution of Intention and shall cause the same to be published
for 3 successive days in The San Bernardino Sun Telegram, a newspaper
published and circulated in the City of San Bernardino, prior to the date
of the above public hearing.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted
by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a,~
