A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE
2 OF AN EASEMENT FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES FROM KENNETH A. & ELIZABETH
GIBBOMS, HUSBAND AND WIFE FOR THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
3 SOUTHWEST CORNER OF HIGHLAND AVENUE AND ORANGE STREET AND ORDER PAYMENT
IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED TWENTY SIX DOLLARS.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
5 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1: The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino is
7 hereby authorized and directed to accept on behalf of said City an
8 Easement from Kenneth A. & Elaine Elizabeth Gibbons, husband and wife,
9 a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein
10 as fully as though set forth at length, marker Exhibi t "A", for street,
11 highway and slope embankment purposes more particularly described in
12 said Easement and concerning that certain real property in the County
13 of San Bernardino, State of California, generally located at the South-
14 west corner of Highland Avenue and Orange Street, and said City consents
15 to recordation thereof by its duly authorized officer.

SECTION 2: That the City of San Bernardino is hereby authorized
to make payment for the herein described property in the amount of
Two Hundred Twenty Six Dollars ($226.00).
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted

That portion of Lot 6, Block A, LaVerne Tract, as per plat thereof recorded
in Book 15 of Maps, page 11, records of the County Recorder of said County, lying
Northeasterly of the following described line:
Beginning at a point on the West line of Orange Street as conveyed to the
County of San Bernardino by document recorded September 13, 1962 in Book 5767, page
107, Official Records of said County, said point being South thereon, a distance
of 67.00 feet from the centerline of Highland Avenue; thence Northwesterly in a
str.aight line, a distance of 24.04 feet to a point in the South line of Highland Ave-
nue as conveyed to said County by said document, said point being West thereon, a
distance of 50.00 feet from the centerline of said Orange Street and the Point of
Termination.

EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof as previously conveyed for street

TOGETHER WITH, an easement for slope embankment purposes, upon, over and
across that portion of Lots 5 and 6, Block A of said La Verne Tract, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of said Orange Street, eaid point being
South thereon, a distance of 67.00 feet from the centerline of Highland Avenue; thence
South along said West line, a distance of 23.00 feet; thence West at right angles, a
distance of 10.00 feet; thence North and parallel with said West line of Orange Street,
a distance of 18.86 feet; thence Northwesterly in a straight line, a distance of 15.76
feet to a point in a line which is parallel with and 10.00 feet South of, as measured
at right angles to the South line of said Highland Avenue, said point being West there-
on, a distance of 54.14 feet from the centerline of said Orange Street; thence West
along said parallel line, a distance of 35.86 feet; thence North ~t right angles,
a distance of 10.00 feet to said South line of Highland Avenue; thence East along said
