HomeMy WebLinkAbout1980-083 I RESOLUTION NO. 5l()-RS T I 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DESIGNATING THE I CITY'S AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE AND AUTHORIZING SAID REPRESENTA- i TIVE TO FILE AN APPLICATION FOR CERTAIN FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSIST- I ANCE UNDER THE DISASTER RELIEF ACT; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. l~23h I BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CO~~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 3 4 5 6 SECTION l. Marshall W. Julian, Director of Emergency 7 Service, is hereby designated as the City's Authorized Repre- 8 sentative, and is hereby authorized to execute for and on behalf 9 of the City of San Bernardino, a public entity established under 10 the laws of the State of California, a project application which II shall be filed with the appropriate State Office for the purpose 12 of obtaining certain Federal financial assistance under the 13 Disaster Relief Act (Public Law 288, 93rd Congress), or otherwise 14 available from the President's Disaster Relief Fund. 15 SECTION 2. The City of San Bernardino, a public entity 16 established under the laws of the State of California, hereby 17 authorizes its agent to provide the assurances and agreements set 18 forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by 19 reference as though set forth in full and at length to the State 20 and to the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration (FDAA) , 21 Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for all matters 22 pertaining to such Federal disaster assistance. 23 SECTION 3.
