PUBLIC SERVICES
The Public Services Street Division currently has (2) Typist Clerk II positions,
including (1) vacancy to date. This clerical support staff for the Street City Yard
is a new position approved by the Mayor and Common Council on February 5,
2001. Filling this position will alleviate the problem of lack of clerical staff to
assist in responding to requests for service and to answer calls pertaining to
street, sewer, tree and sidewalk issues from the community. This appointment
will support the Street Superintendent and Street Supervisors with
correspondence, follow-up and other related clerical duties.
Account Clerk II (J. Soto) - Appointment

This position performs difficult specialized responsibilities in connection to
verifying payroll, pre-editing for its accuracy and correcting discrepancies for the
whole department. Also, this position maintains and handles the department
