Appointments
PUBLIC SERVICES
These are three (3) existing vacant positions. The incumbents will provide
maintenance service to the City's fleet. These employees, combined with the
rest of the maintenance staff, ensure employees throughout the City are driving
safe vehicles in good repair. This position reduces the need to send vehicle
repairs to outside vendors at a higher cost.
36. SHO Grant Analvst (Hamlin. J.) - Promotion
POLICE DEPARTMENT
The incumbent was hired temporarily in March and has been in the position since
then. This is a grant-funded position so there will be no cost to the City.
This new position is a juvenile habitual offender analyst who will track and
prosecute juveniles who continually commit the majority of the crime. The
incumbent's experience of 17 years with the Police Department will provide for a
smooth transition and will enable the department to get the program up an
running in a timely manner.
