1.
PUBLIC COMMENTS ON ITEMS NOT ON AGENDA: A five-minute
limitation shall apply to each member of the public who
wishes to address the Mayor and Common Council on a matter
not on the agenda. No member of the public shall be
permitted to "share" his/her five minutes with any other
member of the public. (Usually, any items received under
this heading are referred to staff for further study,
research, completion and/or future Council action.)

An ordinance of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino approving and adopting a Redevelopment Plan
for the Mt. Vernon Corridor Redevelopment Project Area as
the official Redevelopment Plan for said project area. (See
Attached)
~~ That final reading of said ordinance be waived,
and that the ordinance be adopted.

3. Approval of contract Change Order No. One - extension of
contract for one-year period - security patrol in portions
of the Highland and Arden area - Assessment District No. 990
- Blanket Security. (See Attached) Ward 7
MOTION:
That Change Order No. One to the contract with
Parker Protective Services and Investments Corp.
dba Blanket Security for providing security
services for Assessment District No. 990, in
accordance with Plan No. 7791 (1989-90), be
approved to extend the contract for a period of
one year, from July 1, 1990, through June 30,
1991.

MOTION:
That further reading of the following resolutions
be waived and that said resolutions be adopted.
4. Resolution of the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino authorizing the execution of Program
Supplements No. 60 and 61 of Local Agency Federal-Aid
Safety Improvement Projects, between said City and the
State of California, acting by and through its Department of
Transportation. (Modification of traffic signals on "E"
Street, from 6th Street to 10th Street; and 9th Street,
from "H" Street to Sierra Way. (See Attached) Wards 1, 2

5. Resolution of the City of San Bernardino rev1s1ng Section 1
of Resolution 90-2 relating to the amount of an
infrastructure fee to be levied for right-of-way
improvements and public improvements. (Verdemont Area)

8. Adjournment.
MOTION:
That the meeting be adjourned to 7:00 p.m.,
Wednesday, June 27, 1990, at Sturges Auditorium,
780 North "D" Street, San Bernardino, California.
NOTICE: Any member of the public may address this meeting of
the Mayor and Common Council on any item appearing on
the agenda, by approaching the microphone in the
Council Chambers when the item about which the member
desires to speak is called, and by asking to be
recognized. Any member of the public desiring to speak
to the Mayor and Common Council concerning any matter
not on the agenda but which is within the subject
matter jurisdiction of the Mayor and Common Council,
may address the body at the beginning of the meeting,
during the period reserved for public comment, said
total period for public comment shall not exceed forty-
five (45) minutes, unless such time limit is extended
by the Mayor and Common Council. A five minute
limitation shall apply to each member of the public,
unless such time limit is extended by the Mayor and
Common Council. No member of the public shall be
permitted to "share" his/her five minutes with any
other member of the public. The Mayor and Common
Council may refer any items raised by the public to
staff, or to any commission, board, bureau or committee
"for appropriate- action or have "the item placed on the
next agenda of the Mayor and Common Council. However,
no other action shall be taken nor discussion held by
the Mayor and Common Council on any item which does not
appear on the agenda unless the action is otherwise
authorized in accordance with the provisions of
subdivision (b) of Section 54954.2 of the Government
Code.
