STAFF REPORT
.",,,.,
This is a n&~onwideorganization made up of Vice Investigators. A majority
of the tratftin~classes to be given at the seminar deal with San Bernardino's
Vice problems. Some of the topics are adult pornogrlp~y as it relates to
adult arcades and book stores, prostitution activities such as escort
services, and street and club prostitution operations. Also included in
this training is an in-depth look at carnival operations similar to those
operated at the annual National Orange Show.
Having a representative attend this seminar would help improve the vice
operations within the City of San Bernardino. The cost to the City will
be $886.60.
Justification: This information for the seminar was just received and in
order for Sgt. Tull to attend the seminar the request must be placed on
the September 8; 1987 council agenda for approval.
