STAFF REPORT
The Agreement with the State for development of Seccombe Lake
State Urban Recreation Area stated that all City-owned properties would
be conveyed to the State. This included the properties on the northwest
corner of Waterman Avenue and Seventh Street. shown as Parcels 6. 7. & 8.
on the attached map. In addition to these City properties. they also
acquired Parcels 1 through 5. on the attached map. from private parties.
Due to a cutback in funding. the portion north of Seventh
Street has been deleted from the project. Therefore. the State has
prepared a Quitclaim Deed to transfer title to all of the acquired
properties, north of Seventh Street, to the City. It will be necessary
for the City to accept this Quitclaim deed and consent to its recordation.
Since acceptance of this deed will place control of these lands
under the City, we recommend that it be accepted.

RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
ACCEPTANCE OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
3 LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SEVENTH STREET AND WATERMAN
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
5 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
6 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
7 hereby authorized and directed to accept on behalf of said City a
8 Quit Claim Deed from the State of California, a copy of which isJ
9 attached hereto marked Exhibit "An and incorporated by reference
10 herein as fully as though set forth at length, concerning that
11 certain real property in the City of San Bernardino, California
12 more particularly described in said Quit Claim Deed, and
13 generally located at the Northwest corner of Seventh Street and
14 Waterman Avenue.
15 SECTION 2. City hereby consents to recordation thereof by
16 its duly authorized officer.
17 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly

QUITCLAIM DEED
Pursuant to the provlslons of Chapter 1488, Statutes of 1986, the STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, through its duly appointed, qualified and acting Director of
General Services, hereby quitclaims to the City of San Bernardino, a muni-
cipal corporation, all its right, title and interest in and to the following
described real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California:
As shown on the attached Exhibit "A", consisting of three
(3) pages, and by this reference made a part hereof.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING to the State of California from each of the above
parcels, all mineral deposits as defined in Section 6407 of the Public
Resources Code below a depth of 500 feet, without surface rights of entry.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the State has caused this Quitclaim Deed to be executed
this 8th day of June , 19~.
