G. {,Ltro A RESOLUTION ORDERING \\Om:: IN PORTIONS OF BRADFORD ALLEY BETWEEN A POINT APPROXIMATELY 125.00 FEET WU'IH OF THE CENTER LIKE OF FORTY- SIXTH STREET AND SIERRA WAY, SIERRA WAY BETWEEI BRADFORD ALLEY AND FORTY-EIGHTH STREET, FORTY-SIXTH STREET AND FORTY-SEVEJI'l'H STiEET BETWEmi BRADFORD ALLEY AND WATERJ.n AVENUE, FORTY-EIGHrH STREET BETWEEII SlJ~~4 WAY AND WATP.ZUI AVENUE, as shown on Plan HO. 29i8. FOR THE CONSl'RUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA. WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commen Council of the City of San Bernar- dino on the 7th day of May, 1962, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention, being Resolution No. 6361, to order the work described therein to be done, which said Resolution of Intention duly and legally was published as was required by law, and notioe of improvement has been given in the manner required by law, and written objections and protests to the proposed work or the extent of the district to be assessed were heard and considered. NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the public interest and oonvenienoe require, and the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino hereby declares that by not less than 4/5 vote that the public interest, convenience a.nd necessity requires and hereby orders, the work described in said Resolution of Intention, to be done in portions of Bradford Alley between a point approximately 125.00 feet South of the center line of Forty-sixth Street and Sierra Way, Sierra Way between Bradford Alley and Forty-eighth Street, Forty-sixth Street and Forty-seventh Street between Bradford Alley and Waterman Avenue, Forty-eighth Street between Sierra Way and Waterman Avenue as shown on Plan No. 2948, as provided in said Resolution. That all of said protests and objections of every kind and nature to the proposed work or to the extent of the district to be assessed be and same hereby are overruled and denied. SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereby is direoted to post a Notioe for five days on or near the door of the Council Chambers of the City Hall inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered and referring to the specifioations on file and to publish a notioe in- viting such proposals for two days in the San Bernardino Evening Tele- gram, a newspaper published and circulated in said City. SECTION 3. That the 2nd day of July, 1962, at the hour of 9:30 A.M., be fixed as the time for opening bids and proposals for the doing of said work and the making of said improvement, and that the City Clerk give notioe inviting sealed bids and proposals therefor, as provided by law. SECTION 4. That the work ordered hereunder shall be to the satisfaotion of the City Engineer of said City, and all of said work shall be done under his direction and shall comply with the specifications prepared by him, and upon the completion of said work, the City Engineer shall, and he hereby is directed to make and sign the assessment. SECTIon 5. Reference hereby is made to said Resolution of Intention for a description of the work, the assessment district, the bonds to be issued and for further particulars.
