Jj C.Q, OF SAN BERNARDICb - REQU..o FOR COUNCIL ACT~ STAFF REPORT As a part of the agreement with the State on this project, the City was to provide a specified level of service for custodial maintenance. Considering present staffing levels, the City Administrator (Hatzer) directed staff to investigate contract services for the required work. Working with the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Depart- ment, Public Buildings Staff, as well as the Administrator's office, a set of acceptable project specifications was completed. Bids were opened on April 9, 19B7, with three firms submitting bids. Two bidders were not pre-approved as required by the speci- fications. Bids ranged between $17,100.00 and $22,944.00 for 12 months of service. The city had estimated that the cost would be in the range of $14,000.00 for services provided by City forces. It is, therefore, recommended that the City forces provide the necessary custodial maintenance for the buildings at Seccombe Lake Park and that all bids received be rejected. 4-14-87 75-0264 o o z o Ill: e z Ill: III lD Z e II) ... o ~ U C!l Z Z III D. o o iii -' III U > Z E => I- o Ill: III UOD.
