STAFF REPORT
After conducting meetings with the residents with property along Victoria Avenue,
it was detennined that the gray slumpstone block wall called for in the contract
specifications would not match the color of existing adjacent walls.
The Contractor quoted a price of $2.84 per lineal foot to change the wall to
tan slumpstone for a net increase of $1763.64 increasing the contract price
from $254,978.50 to $256,742.14.
We consider this a fair price and recommend that contract change order No. 1
be approved.
