1. REVIEW OF MODIFICATIONS TO FISCALINI FIELD WITH
FOCUS ON ACCESSIBILITY FOR HANDICAPPED INDIVIDUALS - Commit-
tee met at Fiscalini Field and resolved the following:
1. Top rail in front of handicapped section was
removed for visibility.
2. Installment of a flex hose was agreed to in
the umpire/handicapped shower room.
3. Shower controls to be dropped for access to
handicapped.
4. Access to the field to be provided through
family amd club house area.
5. Handrails to be installed in restrooms.
The Committee endorsed senior ambulatory seating and
asked that Bob Neves work out the process with the Public
Works Director. Anyone applying for a handicap hardship will
be referred to the Commission for Disabled so they can submit
their recommendations to the Planning Commission,
2. TEMPORARY MOVE OF A CITY DEPARTMENT DURING THE
RENOVATION OF THIRD AND FOURTH FLOORS OF CITY HALL - Item
continued to allow staff to review other alternatives.
3. CITY'S POLICY ON UNDERGROUND UTILITIES Item
continued to allow the City Engineer and the City Attorney to
work out exact details that will be included in the ordinance
amendment.

4. VECTOR CONTROL PROGRAM - The Committee recommended
that the City go forward with the resolution, participating
in this program with other cities in the county.
5. SECONDARY ACCESS TO PROPERTY EAST OF ROUTE 330 AND
NORTH OF HIGHLAND AVENUE - STUBBLEFIELD CONSTRUCTION CO.
Item continued to allow the City Attorney to explore the
legality of an agreement between the City and a developer.
6. ALTERNATE LOCATION FOR USE AS POLICE COMMUNITY
SERVICE OFFICE (OR OTHER LAWFUL PURPOSE) IN LIEU OF BUILDING
LOCATED AT 4222 NORTH SIERRA WAY - The Committee recommended
a month-to-month arrangement as was approved by the Council.
7. ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 2.76 TO THE SAN BERNARDINO
MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH PROCEDURES GOVERNING THE MANAGE-
MENT OF CITY RECORDS - Item continued with a request for the
City Clerk to provide the cost to establish the different
alternatives she recommends.
8. WAIVER OF FEES - CONTRUCTION OF PROPOSED SCHOOL AT
LI'1"l'LE LEAGUE DRIVE AND BELMONT STREET (VERDEMONT AREA) - SAN
BERNARDINO CITY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT - Item continued.
9. REQUEST FOR PROVISION OF POLICE COMMUNITY SERVICE
OFFICE - SENIOR CITIZEN'S CENTER IN PERRIS HILL PARK - Item
tabled. The Committee discussed the possibility of providing
a police center at this location but determined that the
location and cost ($90,0001 made it unfeasible.
10. LEVEL PATHS OF TRAVEL ACROSS DRIVEWAYS - REQUEST
COMMI'1"l'EE CLARIFICATION - Item continued. A review of the
Verdemont Plan was requested.
11. REQUEST FOR WAIVER OF UNDERGROUND UTILITIES - 2606
WEST FOOTHILL BLVD. - Item continued. The City Attorney will
review the resolution to see if it applies or should apply.
