Councilman Michael Maudsley; Ray Schweitzer - City Adminis- trator; Bill Sabourin - Deputy City Attorney; Chief Donald Burnett and Lt. Larry Richards - Police Dept.; Roger Hardgrave - Public Works Director; Verne Nadeau - Sr. Real Property Specialist; John Kramer _ Recreation Superintendent; Thelma Press - International Council; Phil Arvizo - Council Executive Assistant; Richard Bennecke - Mayor's Executive Assistant; Frank Jimenez - S.B. Sting; Les Wiley - GTE 1. CITY ANIMAL SHELTER - ENHANCED ADOPTIONS (Pet I.D. Funding) - Continued the Enhanced Adoption Program to second 1n April. The Committee recommended that the I.D. program be ed and the following funds be appropriated to implement it: Program meeting approv- $ 990.50 159.00 1.500.00 $2.649.50 I.D. Engraver I.D. Tags Collars Total It is anticipated that this revolving fund will support the program in a very short period of time. 2. REQUEST FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT OF $5.000 - S.B. Committee recommended denial of financial support and that Mr. Jimenez contact the San Bernardino Spirit for a that could assist in supporting the team. 3. REVISED FEES FOR STURGES AUDITORIUM - The Committee recom- mended approval of the recommendation. The City Attorney's office will provide a resolution. STING - The recommended fund raiser 4. RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SCHEDULE OF FEES CONCERNING THE CONDUCT OF PARADES AND OUTDOOR ENTERTAINMENT WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - The Committee recommended approval of the resolution. The resolution will appear on the April 6. 1987 agenda. 5. UTILITIES RATE INCREASE - The Committee recommended that the practice of filing protests be discontinued but that when there are PUC hearings affecting rates. the public be notified through their water bill mailings. 6. ASSESSMENT ROLL. RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT AND ASSESSMENT ROLL. CHAPTER 27 IMPROVEMENT - Item continued. The Committee recom- mended that approval of the roll action be rescinded and Engineering prepare a new roll separating incidental fees to be brought before the Council on April 20. 1987. ". . O.
