California Edison; Mr. McDaniels Stateside Investors; Lonnie Gunn - Developer; Janie Johnson - Resident 1. PRESERVATION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT DURING EMERGENCY - Item tabled. 2. WATER PROBLEM ON LA HACIENDA DRIVE - Item continued. Engi- neering will investigate all options, cost and residences impacted for possible assessment. Item to be returned to Committee at next meeting. 3. AUTHORIZATION TO ACCEPT BOND IN LIEU OF UNDERGROUNDING UTILITIES - ASSURED MINI-STORAGE - 2650 HIGHLAND AVENUE - Mr. Bob Reynolds was not in attendance. The Committee recommended denial of the request for waiver by Assured Mini-Storage. 4. CITY'S POLICY ON UNDERGROUND UTILITIES - Item continued. The Committee recommended the City Administrator provide a report of the impact on existing projects in the stream and a recommendation for solution of problems that may occur. 5. CODE OF ETHICS RESOLUTION - Item was referred back to the City Attorney requesting the necessity for this resolution and how it would be implemented. 6. CITY ATTORNEY RECOMMENDATION RELATION TO CLAIM BY S.B. WESTSIDE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR SEWAGE DAMAGE - The Committee recommended denial of the request. The Committee recom- mended staff's recommendation of settlement for $1,084.55 and asked this item be discussed in closed session at the next Council Meeting. 7. NEW POLICE STATION - No action since a workshop will be held on March 23. 8. COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS - Item was discussed and it was recom- mended for discussion before the full Council.
