STAFF REPORT
In 1954 the City of San Bernardino acquired the triangular
parcel as shown on the attached map.
The property owner on the North side of Glendenning Way, at the
East end, was granted a 25-foot easement for ingress and
egress, by the City, for access to their garage. The garage
had been constructed 25 years ago. The owner just recently
found out that the garage encroaches on City property by
approximately 2 1/2 feet and has requested that the City convey
to him a, seven foot by approximately 113 foot, parcel in order
that he may sell his home. In order to have a setback from the
existing building, we recommend that a total of seven feet be
granted to the abutting property owner. The area recommended
for sale is already subject to an easement previously granted
and has a val ue of $500.00.
We recommend that the Resolution authorizing execution of the
Grant Deed to Raymond K. Saar, on behalf of the Ci ty for a
portion of City-owned land located North of Glendenning, East
of Valencia and accepting payment in the amount of $500.00 as
the total pri ce therefor, be adopted.

RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT DEED CONVEYING CERTAIN SURPLUS
PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF GLENDENNING WAY, EAST OF VALENCIA
AVENUE, TO RAYMOND K. SAAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of the City of San
Bernardino are authorized and directed to execute on behalf of
the Ci ty a Grant Deed conveyi ng certai n surpl us property
located North of Glendenning Way, East of Valencia Avenue, to
Raymond K. Saar, a widower, a copy of which is attached hereto,
marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as
fully as though set forth at length.
SECTION 2. The Deed shall be recorded and del fvered to
Raymond K. Saar upon payment to the Ci ty of $500.00 as the
tota 1 pri ce for the property.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
