STAFF REPORT
Civitan Little League, the principle user of Fiscalini Field the past 4 seasons,
has relocated its program to Aquinas High School in order for the City to ac-
comodate the new minor league baseball team, The league's arrangement with the
school entails only that they pay for the cost of energy for night lighted use.
The league has requested that the City assist with this cost, The league
would not have paid any electrical fees if they were able to play on a city
facility, The league is requesting assistance for one year only and would
assume full responsibility for this obligation in subsequent seasons.
The league's estimate of the utility costs is accurate. The City has realized
a savings in utility costs equivalent to the amount requested, due to the power
outage at Fisca1ini Field since July 15. It is therefore recommended that
Civitan Little League be provided financial assistance in the amount of $1,148
on a one time only basis from savings in the Recreation Electrical Energy Ac-
count (001-383-53402).
