RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH BOYS' CLUB OF
SAN BERNARDINO, INC. PERTAINING TO TRANSPORTATION SERVICE FOR
HANDICAPPED PERSONS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is
hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City
a First Amendment to Agreement with Boys' Club of San Bernardino,
Inc. pertaining to transportation service for handicapped persons, i

a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and i
incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth
at length.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT

THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into

5 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a municipal corporation, hereinafter
6 referred to as "City", and BOYS' CLUB OF SAN BERNARDINO, INC., a
7 nonprofit corporation, of 1180 West 9th Street, San Bernardino,
8 California, hereinafter referred to as "Boys' Club".
9 WIT N E SSE T H:
10 WHEREAS, City and Boys' Club entered into an agreement on
11 March 20, 1975, pertaining to transportation service for handi-

capped persons; and

WHEREAS, City and Boys' Club desire to amend said
to provide City's share of the required capital grant,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED between the ~arties
hereto as follows:

Paragraph 8 of that certain agreement between the
hereto dated March 20, 1975 pertaining to transportation service
for handicapped persons is hereby amended to read as follows:

"8. City shall pay to Boys' Club the sum of three thousand
21 four hundred twenty six dollars and sixty cents ($3,426.60) as its
22 twenty percent (20%) of the required capital grant when Boys' Club
23 has obtained the UMTA grant and is in a position to acquire the
24 necessary van and equipment. Boys' Club shall then forthwith
25 obtain the van and equipment. Title to said van and equipment
26 shall be taken in the name of Boys' Club."

2. All other covenants, conditions, terms and provisions
28 of said prior agreement shall remain the same and remain in full
force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this
First Amendment to Agreement on the day and year first above
written.
