2 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF THAT CERTAIN NORTH/SOUTH
3 ALLEY LOCATED SOUTH OF SPRUCE STREET, AND WEST OF ''H'' STREET.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
5 BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Ber-
nardino hereby declares ita intention to order the vacation of that certain
North/South Alley located South of Spruce Street, and West of ''H'' Street, in
said City, which said portion more particularly is described as follows:
That portion of Lot 27, of the Ward Courtney and Co. aub-
division of Block 40 of the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO as per
plat thereof recorded in Book 3 of Maps, Page 25, Records
of the County Recorder, County of San Bernardino, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of Spruce Street,
130 feet West of the West line of ''H'' Street (82.50 feet
wide); thence South, a diatance of' 130 feet; thence West,
a distance of 10 feet; thence North, a distance of 130 feet
to the said South line of spruce Street; thence East, a
distance of 10 feet to the Point of Beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Ber-
nardino, in vacating the above described portion of aaid Alley, electa to
proceed under and in accordance with the provisions of the "Street Vacation
Act of 1941", being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California.
SECTION 3. That the hour of 9:30 A.M., on the 15th day of March, 1976,
in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, San Bernardino, California, be, and
the same hereby is fixed aa the time and place when and where all persons
interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before the
said Mayor and Common Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. For
26 further particulars as to the proposed vacation of the hereinbefore described
27 portion of said Alley, reference is made to that certain map marked ''Plan No.
28 4851" approved January 5, 1976, on file in the office of the City Clerk of

1 said City.
SECTION 4. That. the City Engineer of the City of San Bernardino
hereby is directed to cauae Notices of Street Vacation to be posted as
required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that:the foregoing resolution was posted by the
Mayor and Conunon Council of the City of San Bernardino at a h--#-"IAd
