A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO GIVING NOTICE INVITING COMPETITIVE BIDS FOR THE SALE, LEASE OR
EXCHANGE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY SAID CITY, GENERALLY LOCATED
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SAID CITY AND CONSTITUTING SEVEN SEPARATE PARCELS
OF LAND; ESTABLISHING A MINIMUM SALE PRICE FOR SAID PROPERTY~ AND REPEALING
RESOLUTION NO. 12307.

WHEREAS, The City of San Bernardino, a municipal corporation, is
the owner of the hereinafter described parcels of real property situated in

the City of San Bernardino, State of California; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernar-
dino find and determine that there is no further need or necessity for the
use of said real property; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernar-
dino believe it to be in the best interest of the said City that said parcels
of real property be sold, leased or exchanged at the most advantageous terms
obtainable on the open market,
NOW THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COr~ON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Notice is hereby given inviting competitive bid pro-
posals for the sale, lease or exchange of the following real property, and
generally described as follows:
Parcel #1: Unused Fire Station site located at 269 South
Mt. Vernon Avenue, including land and structures,
in the City of San Bernardino.
Parcel #2: Unused Fire Station site located at 1505 North
Waterman Avenue, including land and structures,
in the City of San Bernardino.
Parcel, #3: Unused Fire Station building only located at
3250 Harrison Street in the City of San
Bernardino.

Parcel #4: Occupied dwelling located at 2363 Del Rosa
Avenue, including land and structures in the
City of San Bernardino.

Parcel #5: Vacant land being a part of the demolished
Sewer Treatment Plant No. 1 located South
of Orange Show Road and West of "F" Street
in the City of San Bernardino.
Parcel #6: A triangular parcel of vacant land located
at Rialto Avenue and Belleview Street in
the City of San Bernardino.
Parcel #7: A triangular parcel of vacant land located
at Rialto Avenue and Arrow Route in the City
of San Bernardino.

SECTION 2. The minimum acceptable bid for said real property to
be sold, leased or exchanged by City is established as follows:
Parcel #1 : $15,000.00
Parcel #2: $50,000.00
Parcel #3: Lease Only
Parcel #4: $50,000.00
Parcel #5: Lease Only
Parcel #6: $ 4,750.00
Parcel #7: $ 1,055.00
SECTION 3. Each competitive bid or proposal shall be delivered
to the Office of the City Administrator, City Hall, 300 North "0" Street,
San Bernardino, California, on or before the hour of 2:00 p.m., March 2, 1976,
at which time said sealed bids or proposals shall be opened and publicly de-
clared. The City shall have 45 days from the date of opening of said bids
or proposals to formulate its determinations, The results of said bidding
shall be submitted for consideration at the next regular meeting of the
Mayor and Common Council on April 19, 1976, at the hour of 9:30 a.m., at the
Council Chambers, City Hall, 300 North "0" Street, San Bernardino, California,
at which time the Mayor and Common Council may receive oral bids, in $250.00
increments, provided that the initial oral bid shall be an amount not less
than the highest written bid plus $250.00 and accompanied by cash or check

1 in an amount of ten (10%) percent of such oral bid; and oral bidding shall be
2 I continued in the same manner and bids received orally until all bidding shall
3 have been completed.

SECTION 4. Attention of bidders is directed to "Description of
S Property, Requirements of Bidders, Requirements of Sale and the Official Bid
6 Form" which may be obtained at the Office of the Director of Public Works/
7 Ci ty Engi neer, Real Property Secti on, Room 405, City Hall, 300 North "0"
8 Street, San Bernardino, California.

SECTION 5. All written bids or proposals shall be signed, sealed
10 and delivered. No bid proposal which fails to contain a sum equal to or
11 greater than the minimum acceptable bid price established herein or which
12 is filed at a later time or at a different place or with a different person
13 than required shall be valid or considered for award unless there is sub-
14 stantial compliance herewith as determined by the City Administrator in his
15 sole discretion; and the Mayor and Common Council reserve the right to reject
16 any or all bid proposals for any reason.

SECTION 6. This resolution shall be posted on or near the door of
18 the Council Chamber, City Hall, San Bernardino, California, and information
19 concerning the locations and minimum bid prices of the parcels shall be
20 published not less than once~at least ten (10) days prior to the date for
21 filing bid proposals with the City Administrator, in the Real Estate Section
22 of the San Bernardino Sun-Telegram, a newspaper of general circulation,
23 published and circulated in said City.

SECTION 7. Resolution No. 12307 is hereby repealed.
