Estrada, City Administrator - Ray Schweitzer, Parks, Recreation and
Community Services Director - Annie Ramos, parks, Recreation and
Communty Services Admin. Assistant - John Kramer, Director of Person-
nel - Mary Jane perlick, Council Executive Assistant - Phil Arvizo,
Mayor's Executive Assistant - Richard Bennecke, Public Buildings
Supt. - Wayne Overstreet, Police Dept. - Capt. Wayne Harp
1. STEP INCREASES The Committee recommended approval with
periodic reporting to the full Council. The City Administrator will
publish a directive to departments.
2. COMPENSATION ADJUSTMENT GRANT FUNDED EMPLOYEES - The Commit-
tee recommended approval with retroactive inplementation.
3. WAGE INCREASE FOR AQUATIC STAFF - The Committee recommended
approval of the wage increase as presented.
4. ADDITIONAL SERGEANT

6. CITY ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE REVIEW - The Committee request-
ed that the City Administrator provide a full report reviewing the
total organization of City Hall with an overview of how many employ-
ees are assigned, where they are, who does what and what the chain of
command is. The Committee requested an individual review and dis-
cussion with Departments Heads. This would take place at 8:30 a.m.,
Thursday, February 26, in the Council Office Conference Room.
7. HIGHER ACTING CLASSIFICATION - Item continued for two weeks.
8. FUNDING PERSONNEL POSITION CLERK I - The Committee recom-
mended reinstatement of this position. Consideration is to be given
to funding the position from police Department funds.
