Recommended motion:
That the request from Conunonwealth Equity Corportation for a waiver
of the requirement to connect to the City sewer system for APN 348-
101-10, located on the south side of Meyers Road, approximately
5,600 feet westerly of Little League Drive, be approved.

STAFF REPORT
A request has been received from Commonwealth Equity
Corporation, by letter dated 7-22-89, for a waiver of the
requirement for APN 348-101-10 to connect to the City sewer
system. A copy of this letter is attached for reference.

Ordinance No. MC-663 states that the Mayor and Council
may waive or modify the requirement to connect to the City sewer
system, where one or more of 4 conditions exist. One condition
is that a single family residential development will be built
upon a lot larger than one-half acre, and there is a natural
obstruction that prevents the practical extension of a sewer
line to serve the development.
Commonwealth Equity Corporation is planning to divide
the land into four parcels of approximately 3.4 gross acres
each. Extension of a sewer line to serve this development would
entail crossing Meyers Creek. Therefore, this condition for
granting a waiver is satisfied.
We recommend that the request for a waiver be approved~
