RESOLUTION NO. 86-471
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO VACATING A
PORTION OF HARRIMAN PLACE, EAST OF HOSPITALITY LANE, IN THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AND RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS
THEREIN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECT ION 1: The Mayor and Common Counci 1 of the Ci ty of
San Bernardino, having heard the evidence offered in relation
to the proposed vacation of a portion of Harriman Place, east
of Hospitality Lane, more particularly described in City
Resolution of Intention No. 86-430, hereby find from all of the
evidence submitted that such street proposed to be vacated by
said Resolution are unnecessary for present or prospective
s t r e e t pur p 0 s e s.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and Common Council of said City do
hereby vacate a portion of Harriman Place, East of Hospitality
Lane, more particularly described as follows:
Those portions of Harriman Place as shown on
Tract No. 12034 per map recorded in Book 168 of
Maps, pages 75-87, inclusive, Records of San
Bernardino County, more particularly described
as follows:
PARCEL A:
COMMENCING at the Easterly common lot corner of
Lot 24 and Lot 25 of said Tract:
THENCE North 89048135" West along the common lot
line of said lots a distance of 447.74 feet to a
point on a non-tangent curve, concave Westerly,
having a radius of 60.00 feet, through which a
radial line bears North 8904813511 West, said
point also being the Westerly common lot corner
of said lots;

THENCE, Northerly on said curve to the left,
through a central angle of 38004'23", for an arc
distance of 39.87 feet, to a point through which
a radial line bears North 52007'01" East, said
point is 37.00 feet at right angles, from the
Easterly prolongation of the centerline of
Harriman Place and is also the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
THENCE, North 89048'35" West, parallel to the
centerline of Harriman Place, a distance of
129.88 feet to a point of cusp with a curve,
concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 100.00
feet, through which a radial line bears South

distance of 54.28 feet to a point of reverse
curve, concave Southerly, having a radius of
60.00 feet;
THENCE, along said curve to the right, through a
central angle of 8300114411, for an arc distance
of 86.75 feet, to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
PARCEL B:
COMMENCING at the Easterly common lot corner of
Lot 24 and Lot 25 of said Tract;
THENCE, North 89048135" West along the common
lot line of said lots a distance of 447.74 feet
to a point on a non-tangent curve, concave
Westerly, having a radius of 60.00 feet, through
which a radial line bears North 89048'35" West,
said point also being the Westerly common lot
corner of said lots;
THENCE, Southerly on said curve to the left,
through a central angle of 3800412311, for an arc
distance of 39.87 feet, to a point through which
a radial line bears South 51044'12" East, said
point is 37.00 feet, at right angles, from the
Easterly prolongation of the centerline of
Harriman Place and is also the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
THENCE, North 89048'3511 West, parallel to the
centerline of Harriman Place, a distance of
129.88 feet to a point of cusp with a curve,
concave Southwesterly, having a radius of 100.00
feet, through which a radial line bears North

THENCE, Southeasterly on said curve to the
right, through a central angle of 3100610711, for
an arc di stance of 54.28 feet to a point of
reverse curve, concave Northerly, having a
radius of 60.00 feet;
THENCE, along said curve to the left, through a
central angle of 8300114411, for an arc distance
of 86.75 feet, to the TR UE PO INT OF BEG INN ING.
6 And is also described in said Resolution No. 86-430.
7 SECTION 3. Nothing in this Resolution shall in any way
8 affect or disturb any existing easements for Public Utility
9 purposes belonging either to the City of San Bernardino as to
10 any Public Utility and is hereby reserved for future general
11 Public Utility Facilities in, over, under and across a portion
12 of the real property herein above described, and to vie,
13 maintain, replace or renew such facilities and those reserved
14 by Resol ution of Intention No. 86-430.

SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino
shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San
Bernardino.
