U6-219 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF CRESCENT STREET BETWEEN 3 COLUMBIA STREET AND "G" STREET, AND RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS UPON A PORTION THEREOF. 4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE 5 CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 6 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council of the 7 City of San Bernardino hereby declares its intention to order 8 the vacation of Crescent Street between Columbia Street and "G" 9 Street, in said City, which said portion is more particularly 10 described as follows: 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 n 23 24 25 26 27 28 Crescent Street as delineated on Parcel Map No. as recorded in Book 68 of Parcel Maps, Pages 89 90, records of the County, Recorder, State California, and that portion of Crescent Street: 6406 and of A portion of Crescent Avenue South Street, in said City, which said particularly described is as follows: of Columbia portion more All that portion of Lots 6, 7 and 8, block 12, Rancho San Bernardino, as per plat thereof recorded in Book 7 of Maps, at Page 2, Records of the Cpunty Recorder of the San Bernardino County, State of California, and being described as follows: Beginning at a point in the west line of "G" Street, said point being 1397.74 feet South of the south line of Columbia Street, 50 feet wide; thence North 37 15' 08" West, 368.17 feet; thence North 0 41'53" West, being along a line parallel with the West line of "G" Street, 555.80 feet to the South line of Lot 5, Block 12, of said Rancho San Bernardino; thence South 89 18' 07" West, being along the South line of said Lot 5, 40 feet; thence South 0 41'53" East, being along a line parallel with the West line of "G" Street, 528.69 feet; thence South 37 15'08" East, 453.35 feet to a point in the West line of "G" Street; thence North 0 41'53" West, being along the west line of "G" Street, 25.19 feet to the Point of Beginning. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, in vacating the above described portion of said street, elects to proceed under and in accordance with 1 the provisions of the "Public Streets, Highways, and Services 2 Vacation Law", being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and 3 Highways Code of the State of California. 4 SECTION 3. That the hour of 9:00 A.M., on the 7th 5 day of July, 1986, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, San 6 Bernardino, California, be, and the same hereby is, fixed as the 7 time and place when and where all persons interested in or 8 objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before the said 9 Mayor and Common Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. 10 For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of the 11 hereinbefore described street, reference is made to that certain 12 map marked "Plan No. 7006" approved June 2, 1986, on file in the 13 office of the City Clerk of said City. 14 SECTION 4. Nothing in this Resolution shall in any 15 way affect or disturb any existing easements for sanitary sewer 16 and appurtenant facilities and for public utility purposes 17 belonging either to the City of San Bernardino or to any public 18 utility and there is hereby reserved for future general utility 19 purposes and for this City an easement reasonably necessary to 20 locate such sanitary sewer and public utility facilities over, 21 in, under, or across the above described street. 22 SECTION 5. That the City Engineer of the City of San 23 Bernardino hereby is directed to cause Notices of Street 24 Vacation to be posted as required by the Public Streets, 25 Highways and Services Vacation Law. 26 SECTION 6.
