HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987-281 1 RESOLUTION NO. 8 7 --' 28 i 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A THIRD AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH COUNTY OF SAN 3 BERNARDINO ACTING AS THE AREA AGENCY ON AGING APPROVING A REVISED BUDGET FOR THE SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM INCREASING THE AMOUNT OF 4 SUCH BUDGET, REDUCING THE IN -KIND MATCH AND EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF SUCH BUDGET TO JUNE 30, 1988. 5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY 6 OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 7 SECTION 1. Agreement No. 86-766) between Office on Aging and City of San Bernardino increasing the contract amendment by $157,961, from $178,353 to $336,314 and extending the contract term an additional year through June 30, 1988. BACKGROUND: The Office on Aging recently requested the submission of budget proposals from its nutrition contractors for the FY 1987-88. Current nutrition contractors (FY 1986-87) were asked to submit budgets which ref lected increased meal service for FY 1987-88. The following communities are locations for congregate meals: San Bernardino and Highland. This amendment will renew the FY 1986-87 contract allowing the contractor, City of San Bernard~no to continue uninterrupted nutrition services in FY 1987-88. REVIEWED BY ADVISORY GROUP: The Senior Affairs Commission, in an executive committee meeting, approved the FY 1987-88 contract amendment with City of San Bernardino on June 26, 1987. The rate per meal will be $1.24 per completed unit of service for C-l and $ -0- per completed uni t of service for C-2 as identified in Exhibi t "B-1" and/or "B-2," and as approved by the Office on Aging. Reimbursement for completed units of service shall not exceed the amount allocated for FY 1987-88; 4) The matching share contributetl by the contractor as specified in Paragraph 6 is increased to $25,646 of which -0- shall be cash and $25,646 shall be Inkind; 5) Except as modified by this amendment, all provisions of Contract No. 86-766 remain in full force and effect.
