HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-Public Hearing for Budget Protest Letters . 4. .lIP 413 tl. . San Bernardino City Unifad School District E. Neal Roberts, Ed.D., Superintendent o y__...... H ft. There's No Better Place To Learn January 9, 1992 Mayor Bob Holcomb Members, San Bernardino City council 300 North "D" Street San Bernardino, CA 92418 Your Honor and Council Members: I would like to express my appreciation for,. and support of, the City of San Bernardino's Telecommunications Division. The service this department provides to the community through local television programming is immeasurable. The school district in particular, has been afforded the opportunity to showcase many of our fine programs to the larger community through the Education Round Table and the several other programming slots. The feedback we have received tells us the community appreciates this service. I fully understand the current economic climate and the necessity for governmental agencies to streamline spending. The school district is in a similar position. However, it is my hope that the outstanding service provided by the Telecommunications Division will be maintained. Our local programming is a cut above that of other cities and I feel it would be detrimental to the community to lose it. 7~it~ E.
