Of ~... _,,0 RESOLUTION NO. 88-176 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CHEROKEE LANDSCAPE SERVICES FOR ~1AINTENANCE OF LANDSCAPING IN PORTIONS OF KENDALL DRIVE (STATE ROUTE 206); AND UNIVERSITY PARKWAY, COLLEGE AVENUE, 48TH STREET, KENDALL DRIVE (STATE ROUTE 206), NORTHPARK BOULEVARD AND LITTLE MOUNTAIN DRIVE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Cherokee Landscape Services is the lowest responsible bidder for construction of a public project, to-wit: Maintenance of Landscaping in portions of Kendall" Drive (State Route 206), Assessment District No. 951, in accordance with Plan No. 6192-A (1988-89), and in portions of University Parkway, College Avenue, 48th Street, Kendall Drive (State Route 206), Northpark Boulevard and Little Mountain Drive, Assessment District No. 952, in accordance with Plan No. 6056-A (1988-89) for the total amount of $41,623.00, a contract is awarded to said bidder accordingly, but such award shall be effective only upon the contract being fully executed by the parties; all other bids therefor are hereby rejected; and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the contract is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length. SECTION 2. This contract and any amendments or modifications thereto shall not take effect or become operative until fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution.
