At the Rousing Committee Meeting on October 24, 1991, the Committee
requested information regarding housing projects that are currently being
funded by the Department. At the present time, eight (8) housing projects
totaling 902 houaing units are being funded by the Department. Seven (7)
of the projects are funded with Twenty-Percent (20X) Set-Aside funds and
one (1) is funded with both Twenty-Percent (20X) Set-Aside funds and
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
The funding amounts are as follows: Single-Family projects,
$2,353,871.50; multi-family projects, $5,845,000; and senior projects,
$7,248,851. There are 121 single-family units, 636 multi-family units and
145 senior units.
Of these 902 units, there are 253 units at fifty-percent (50%) of the area
median income, 249 units at eighty-percent (80%) of the area median
income, 65 units at one-hundred percent of the area median income, and 335
units at one-hundred, twenty percent (120%) of the area median income
levels.
