CITY OF SAN BERNt"DINO - REQUEST lOR COUNCIL ACTION
.
STAFF REPORT
Through a City initiated action, the City recently attempted to annex the
unincorporated territory East of Waterman Avenue, between 3rd Street and 6th Street.
the proposal was defeated by a majority protest of registered voters, and on October
7, 1991 a resolution terminating the proceedings was adopted.
The two areas submitted under this proposal are owned by the City of Riverside, and
represent large areas of the previously attempted proposal. Since the City of
Riverside did not indicate any opposition to our proposal, this annexation proposal
will proceed as 100% landowner consent.
It is recommended that authorization to proceed be granted.
