Synopsis of Previous Council action:
On February 4, 1991, the Mayor and Common Council
salaries for Fire Department Ranges P-5, P-6,
Marshal and Training Officer, effective August I,
established
P-7, Fire
1990.
Recommended motion:
That the salaries for Fire Department Ranges P-5, P-6, P-7,
Fire Marshal and Training Officer be established as outlined
in the staff report, effective August I, 1991, and direct
the Personnel Department to prepare an amendment to Resolu-
tion No. 6429.

CITY OF SAN BERNACINO - REQUEST FCO COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Section 186 of the city Charter establishes a formula for setting
salaries for local safety members, effective each August 1. city
staff has reached agreement with Fire Management on the ten cities
whose salaries will be averaged to determine this year's P-5,
Training Officer, Fire Marshal, P-6 and P-7 salaries for the Fire
Department.
The cities selected are:
-. Glendale
- Fullerton
- Escondido
-Rancho CUcamonga
~ Pasadena
- Fremont
- Thousand Oaks
-Stockton
~Simi Valley
~ Chula Vista
The new monthly salary ranges, effective August 1, 1991, are:
