RESOLUTION NO. 89-367 1 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ASSESSING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WI1.'HIN THE CITY OF 3 SAN BERNARDINO FOR THE COSTS OF ABATEMENT OF PUBLIC NUISANCES ON SAID PROPERTIES (CASE NO. 89 VAP 302-07) 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its authority under Chapter 8.36 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code, did lawfully give notice of and thereafter abate public nuisances found to exist on the properties described in Exhibit n A" attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the San Bernardino Municipal Code, the Superintendent of Public Buildings served notice to all property owners of the abatement costs for removing abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, and/ or inoperative vehicles or parts thereof from the property; and WHEREAS, opportunity for a hearing before the Board of BuildinG' Commissioners to protest the abatement costs was afforded the property owners, with no response forthcoming; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council confirm and adopt as special assessments, the following abatement costs which have been incurred by the City for the abatement of public nuisances found to exist on the following properties: Assessment 23 No. 24 1 25 26 Assessor's No. Property Amount of Address Assessment 289-241-47 2426 E. 5th. Street $415.50 27 28 The legal description of each parcel is detailed in Exhibit n A n \'V 0 : mal August 21, 1989 1 SECTION 2. The above assessments shall be paid to Public Buildings/ 2 Parking Control, basement of City Hall, 300 N. "D" Street, San Bernardino, 3 CA. 92418, within thirty (30) days after notice of this resolution is mailed to 4 all parties with an interest in the above properties. all assessments not 5 fully paid in thirty (30) days shall become a lien on the property pursuant 6 0 the San Bernardino Municipal Code and shall be collected as a special 7 assessment thereon. 8 SECTION 3. If the above assessment is not paid as hereinabove 9 rovided, the City Clerk is directed to file a certified copy of this resolution 10 with the Auditor of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, 11 directing that said asseSSLlent be. entered as a lien against the property as it 12 appears on the current assessment rolls.
