Mello-Roos Community Facilities District No. 995 was
formed at the request of 4 property owners to finance the
Verdemont Infrastructure Fee on their 7 parcels. An amount of
$1,340,786 was reserved in the 1990/91 Verdemont Infrastructure
Fee Budget, to reimburse developers for the actual costs incurred
for installing street improvements on streets in the fee program.
These funds will be used to finance the costs incurred for the
improvement of Belmont Avenue.
The Economic Development Agency will advance funds as
needed to reimburse developers and then be repaid as additional
infrastructure fees are collected.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
