"J" St., 1487 W. Kingman; 1771 W. Mallory St., 1781 W. Mallory St~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardinov pursuant to its authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15~28, and other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance abatements on the real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth. The last known owners of record as to each such parcel are also specified in Exhibit "A". Due notice was given to the person or persons having an interest in said property and a hearing was held by the Board of Building Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the costs of said abatements on said property. The Board of Building Commissioners has entered its order determining the costs to be reasonable and proper and imposing a lien upon the land involved. Notice of the right to appeal to the Mayor and Cammon Council has been issued to all affected property holders. The Board of Building Commissioners now requests that the Mayor and Common Council confirm the imposition of the liens. If said sum is not fully paid to the City Clerk, 14 City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after mailing a 15 notice to the person or persons having an interest in said prop- 16 erty informing said person or persons of the adoption of this 17 resolution as to any such individual parcel, then said sum shall 18 be and become a lien on said property pursuant to said Municipal 19 Code provisions and applicable laws and shall be collected as a 20 special assessment thereon. 21 SECTION 40 In the event said sum is not paid as hereinabove 22 provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified 23 copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San 24 Bernardino, State of California, directing that said sum be en- 25 tered as lien charges against said property as it appears on the 26 current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time and in 27 the same manner, subject to the same penalties and interest upon 28 - 2 - 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 ~ 1 delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San Bernar- 2 dino are collected. 3 The City Clerk shall also present for recording appropriate 4 notices of the imposition of these liens with the County Re- 5 corder. 6 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly 7 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Ber- 8 9 nardino at an adjourned regular meeting thereof, held on the 13th March , 1989, by the following day of 10 vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Reilly, Flores, Maudsley, Minor, Miller NAYS: None ABSENT: Council Member Estrada ABSTAIN: Council Member Pope-Ludl-m ,to~ ~!U ~i~rk ,I r/it'J # The foregoing resolution is hereby approved this ~/~ day of , 1989.
