RESOLUTION NO. 11831 ENTITLED IN PART
FOR THE APPOINTMENTS OF A MAYOR
ESTABLISHING SUCH APPOINTMENTS FOR
FISCAL YEARS, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1991.
SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING
"A RESOLUTION... PROVIDING
PRO TEMPORE. . . " : AND
THE 1991-92 AND 1992-93
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution 11831 section 1 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 36 of the Charter of the
9 City of San Bernardino, the Mayor and Common Council hereby
establish a permanent procedure for the appointment of a Mayor
Pro Tempore to be effective and operative in case of vacancy, or
if by reason of absence from the City, or sickness, or from any
cause, the Mayor is unable to perform the duties of his office.
In such cases, the rotating appointment of a Mayor Pro Tempore
for the 1991-92 and 1992-93 fiscal years shall be automatically
made for each month in advance by the adoption of this
resolution in accordance with the following schedule:
