Synopsis of Previous Council action:
May 7, 1990 - Council authorized the Department to hire Six (6) Summer Lunch
Monitors on a part time basis for a 49 day period during the
months of June, July and August of 1991.
Recommended motion:
That the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department be authorized to
hire six (6) part time Summer Lunch Monitors.

MONITORS FOR SUMMER FOOD SERVICE
FOR CHILDRENS PROGRAM.
STAFF REPORT
Summer Lunch Monitors are utilized in the administration and operation of the
Summer Food Service Program. Monitors are required by the U.S.D.A. to visit
a sponsor's site daily to review and evaluate the programs operation.
Summer Lunch Monitors wages and mileage reimbursements are paid through the
Summer Food Service Grant. -
