Synopsis of Previous Council action:
Public Works Project No. 90-19
03-05-90 -- Director of Public Works/City Engineer and City Clerk were
authorized to proceed with proposed vacation of a portion of
Huff Street between "G" Street and Crescent Avenue. and Plan No.
8031 was approved.
Racommended motion:
1. That the Ne~ative Declaration for Public Works Project No. 90-19. Vacation of
a portion of Huff Street between "G" Street and Crescent Avenue. be adopted.
2. That a findin~ be made that the vacation of a portion of Huff Street between
"G" Street and Crescent Avenue. is consistent with the circulation element of
the General Plan.

STAFF REPORT
The Ne~ative Declaration for Public Works Pro;ect No. 90-19 was recommended for
adoption by the Environmental Review Committee at its meetin~ of 04-17-90.
A 21-dav public review period was afforded from 04-19-90 to 05-09-90. No
comments were received.
We recommend that the Negative Declaration be adopted and a finding made that the
project is consistent with the Circulation Element of the General Plan.
This Adoption of the Negative Declaration was presented at the Au~st 6. 1990
Council Meeting. The owner requested that the item be tabled until such time as
an agreement could be worked out with the property o~ner on the North side of
Huff Street. Agreement between the two parties has been reached. and the owner
would now like to proceed with the proposed street vacation.
