COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Per the request of Larry Reed, Director of Planning and Building Services, (Attachment "A"), the classification of Development Permit Technician is being established in order to more effectively serve the public during the development stages of planning and building functions. The annual salary for Planning Aide is $44,362 including 31% for fringe benefits, based on top step. In comparison, the annual salary for Development Permit Technician is $36,329, also based on top step including benefits.
