I - 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO CONFIRMING THE ® 1989-90 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT N0. 951, 3 LANDSCAPING CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE DISTRICT, WAGONWHEEL ROAD AREA. 4 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 81-482, the Mayor and Common 5 Council found that the public interest, convenience, and G necessity required the formation of a landscaping construction 7 and maintenance district; and 8 WHEREAS, by said Resolution No. 81-482, the Mayor and 9 Common Council formed an assessment district known as Assessment 10 District No. 951 for the purpose of providing landscaping con- ll struction and maintenance in the Wagonwheel Road Area pursuant to 12 the provisions of Chapter 12,90 of the San Bernardino t4unicipal l3 Code; and 14 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 81-360, the Mayor and Common © 15 Council declared that all the land included within the boundaries 16 of said district will be benefited by the construction and 17 maintenance of said landscaping; and l8 WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 81-36U declared that an l~ annual assessment shall be levied on all land within the district 2U to provide funding for said landscaping construction and 2l maintenance and the administration thereof; and 22 WHEREAS., the payments on the construction portion of 23 the district were spread over a five (5) year period and the last 24 payment thereon was made on the 1987-88 assessment roll, 25 therefore all assessments rolls hereafter are prepared only for 26 the maintenance and administration of the landscaping; and 27 28 -29-89 Q RESOLUTION APPRV. 1989 ASSES. ROLL AD951 1 WHEREAS, an Assessment Roll has been prepared totalling 2 $5,628.70 for Zone 1, $280,88 for Zone 2, or for 85,909.58 the 3 entire District, which sets forth the individual assessments to 4 be levied on each of the parcels of land within Assessment 5 District No. 951 for the fiscal year 1989-90; 6 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON 7 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 8 SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council do hereby 9 find and determine that the proportionate costs to be levied 10 against the parcels of land within Assessment District No. 951 11 are correctly set forth on Assessment Roll No. 951 for the fiscal 12 year 1989-90, designated as Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, and 13 do hereby confirm said assessments. 14 SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is directed to cause a 15 copy of this Resolution to be transmitted to the office of the 16 Auditor-Controller for the County of San Bernardino with the ~ 17 request that the individual assessments be placed on the subject ]8 1989-90 property tax bills for collection together with all 19 ther property taxes. 20 ~ ~ 2l 22 -29-89 2 23 i 24 © 26 27 28 n o RESOLUTION APPRV. 1989 ASSES.
