RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF BUILDING COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ABAT~ OF A PUBLIC
NUISANCE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the San Bernardino Municipal Code,
Title 15, Chapter 15.28, the Building Official has posted a
bui1ding(s) located at
1611 Kendall

San Bernardino, California, and has notified person(s) having an
interest in the above property that the bui1ding(s) or premises
constitute a public nuisance;
WHEREAS, pursuant to San Bernardino Municipal Code, the
Building Official has served a "Notice of Hearing Before the
Board of Building Commissioners of the City of San Bernardino",
relating to abatement of said nuisance, to the person(s) having
an interest in the above property, and has prepared a declaration
of mailing of the notice, a copy of which is on file in these
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held to receive and consider all
relevant evidence, objections or protests on April 7
,
1989; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Building Commissioners heard the
testimony and examined the evidence offered by the parties
relative to the alleged public nuisance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF BUILDING
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Based upon the evidence submitted, it was found
and determined that the bui1ding(s) and/or premises located at

2 constituted a public nuisance for the reasons set forth in
3 Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
4 as though fUlly set forth at length as the findings of fact of
5 the Board.

SECTION 2.
Based upon the evidence submitted, it was
7 determined that the City of San Bernardino was required to
8 initiate abatement actions; that the City incurred costs in the
9
sum of $ 1,781.50
to abate the above property; and that these
10 costs and any future costs to the City to abate the above
11 property shall be the personal obligation of the owner(s) as well
12 as a lien on the above property.

SECTION 3.
The owner(s) is directed to keep vacant
14 building(s) boarded and secure and to keep the premises free of
15 debris, trash, and graffiti. The owner(s) is directed to obtain
16 permits within ten (10) days from the posting of a copy of this
17 resolution on the above property and to rehabilitate the
18 building(s) in compliance with City codes within the sixty (60)
19 days or prior to any occupancy.

SECTION 4. Any person aggrieved by this order may, within
21 fifteen (15) days after
May 1, 1989
, appeal to the
22 Common Council by filing with the City Clerk a written statement
23 of the order appealed from, the specific grounds of appeal and
24 the relief or action sought from the Common COuncil.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF BUILDING COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC
NUISANCE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the San Bernardino Municipal Code,
Title 15, Chapter 15.28,
building(s) located at
the Building Official
3945 N. Sferra Way
has posted a
,
San Bernardino, California, and has notified person(s) having an
interest in the abcve property that the building(s) or premises
constitute a public nuisance;
WHEREAS, pursuant to San Bernardino Municipal Code, the
Building Official has served a "Notice of Hearing Before the
Board of Building Commissioners of the City of San Bernardino",
relating to abatement of said nuisance, to the person(s) having
an interest in the abcve property, and has prepared a declaration
of mailing of the notice, a copy of which is on file in these
proceedings; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held to receive and consider all
relevant evidence, objections or protests on

WHEREAS, the Board of Building Commissioners heard the
testimony and examined the evidence offered by the parties
relative to the alleged public nuisance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF BUILDING
COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Based upon the evidence submitted, it was found
and determined that the building(s) and/or premises located at

constituted a public nuisance for the reasons set forth in
Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
as though fully set forth at length as the findings of fact of
the Board.
SECTION 2. Based upon the evidence submitted, it was
determined that the City of San Bernardino was required to
initiate abatement actions: that the City incurred costs in the
sum of $ 564.90
to abate the above property; and that these
costs and any future costs to the City to abate the above
property shall be the personal obligation of the owner(s) as well
as a lien on the above property.
SECTION 3. The owner(s) shall obtain a Demolition Permit
and DEMOLISH THE BUILDING(S) located at
3945 N. Sierra Way
, San Bernardino, California within sixty (60)
days from the posting of a copy of this resolution on the above
property.
If the building(s) is not demOlished within the
prescribed period of time, the bui1ding(s) will be demolished by
the City and the costs shall be the personal obligation of the
owner(s) as well as a lien on the above property.
SECTION 4. Any person aggrieved by this order may, within
fifteen (15) days after
May 1. 1989
, appeal to the
Common Council by filing with the City Clerk a written statement
of the order appealed from, the specific grounds of appeal and
the relief or action sought from the Common Council.
