A RESOLUTION OF THE ~\YOR AND COI1MON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURB, GUTTER
AND PAVEMENT IN A PORTION OF WALL ALLEY, WALL AVENUE AND THIRTY-
THIRD STREET IN ACCORDAt:CE ,,11TH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION, RESOLUTION
NO. 2686.
WHEREAS, the Meyor a.nd Common Council of the City of Sa.n
Eernardino in aDen seseion on the 15th day of June, 1953, Dublicly
did aDen, exa.mine, and decla.re, a.ll sealed r)rOD~)S81s or bids for
doing the work mentioned in Resolution of Inte~ion, Resolution
No. 2686 of said Mayor and Common Council, declaring its intention
to construct curb, gutter, pavement, and appurtenances in a portion
of Wa.ll Alley, Wall Avenue, and 33rd Street. Reference to said
Resolution of Intention hereby is made for the 3.escription of the
work and the assessment district and for all further particula..rs.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN EEIlNARDINO DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the said Mayor and Common Council hereby awards
the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit:
HERZ PAVING COMPANY
pursuant to his bid dated June 15, 1953, on file in the office of
the City Clerk, at the price named in his bid and hereby rejects
all other proDosals of bids for the doinR of seid "~rk.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereb:r is directed to publish the
notice of this award twice in The Evening Telegram, a nelrrSClaper
published and circulated in the City of San Bernardino.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoDtion
of this resolution and thence forth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was passed by the
Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Berncrdino at a regular
