Description) Capi tljl Improvement Finance: Council Notes: 75.0262 Agenda Item No 19 CITY OF SAN BERN~DINO - REQUEST F~ COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT The Board of Water Commisioners authorized entering into escrow for the purchase of a parcel of land at the northwest corner of lOth & "J" Streets. The parcel is needed for the installation of a water well, equalizing reservoir and booster station to meet water demand in the water system. The lot is located at a strategic location, enabling the Water Department to move water to our reservoirs at Lytle Creek and 30th and Waterman. The parcel is 9,940 square feet and is currently vacant. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: S.Etl'lOlLl.a That the City of San Bernardino does hereby accept a Grant Deed from Edmund B. Galvez and Aurora Galvez, Husband and Wife, for the real property described as follows: THAT PORTION OF LOT 16, BLOCK 19, RANCHO SAN BERNARDINO, IN THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER PLAT RECORDED IN BOOK 7 OF MAPS, PAGE 2, RECORDS OF SAID COUNTY, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 16; THENCE WEST ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID LOT, 71 FEET; THENCE NORTH PARALLEL WITH THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT, 181.25 FEET; THENCE EAST PARALLEL WITH THE CENTER LINE OF 11TH STREET, 71 FEET; THENCE SOUTH ALONG THE EAST LINE OF LOT 16 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
