The CVB has successfully recruited the Rennaissance Pleasure Faire, scheduled from May 13, 1989 to June 25, 1989, and it is expected that approximately 200,000 people will attend the event. As a result of this event, the CVB has requested an additional $10,000.00 in funding for fiscal year 1988-89. The requested funding will be used for additional marketing and media outreach to publicize the Pleasure Faire and lodging facilities available to the attendees in San Bernardino. A copy of the First Amendment to Agreement for Professional Services is attached. The proposed amendment has been approved as to form and legal content by Agency Counsel and signed by the CVB. The Redevelopment Committee reviewed this item at its meeting on April 6, 1989 and recommended approval.
