STAFF REPORT
All work was satisfactorily completed as of 3-08-89.
The contract was awarded for the low bid price of
$145,983.00. Contract Change Order No. One directed the
Contractor to replace existing 1/2" PVC conduit risers with 1"
risers, in order to facilitate the larger conductors required
for the new interconnect system. The net cost of Change Order
One was $3,462.04, which increased the contract price to
$149,445.04.
The actual final contract price is $146,826.84, due to a
lesser amount of aerial interconnect cable being installed than
the estimated quantity in the bid documents.
We recommend that the work be approved and accepted and
that final payment be authorized at the expiration of the lien
period.
