Basin Restoration Council Notes: 75-0262 Agenda Item No /5 CITY OF SAN BERNQDINO - REQU~ST F~ COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT Plans for restoration of slopes and erosion control planting for the Chestnut Avenue Debris Basin have been prepared by the Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be ad- vertised for bids. The project consists, in general, of replacing eroded material and hydroseeding a native vegetation mixture on the slopes. Below is an estimate of the total project cost: Construction Contract $ 22,278 Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1530) 5,000 Sub-Total $ 27,278 Contingencies (10%) :!: 2,722 TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 30,000 An amount of $30,000 has been allocated in the Storm Drain Construction Fund, under Account No. 248-368-57828, to finance the costs that will be incurred for these improvements. We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization granted to advertise for bids. 12-7-94 0264
