2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING A LIEN ON
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
3 FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE. (2826 St.
Elmo Drive, San Bernardino, California)

WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its
5
authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28 and
6
other laws did lawfully cause a public nuisance to be abated on
7
Project No. 1606 on the 20th day of June ,
8
19 80 on the real property hereinafter described; and
9
WHEREAS, due notice was given to the person or persons
10
having an interest in said property and a hearing was held to
11
hear protests and to assess the costs of said abatement on said
12
property on the _1st day of March .1982

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
14
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The hearing is closed; the costs are found to
16
have been duly incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under
17
said San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter; and the final state -
18
ment of costs on file with the City Clerk is hereby confirmed and
19
adopted as a special assessment in the sum of two hundred twenty
20
three dollars and seventy-nine cents ($223.79)

against the property known as 2826 St. Elmo Drive, San
22
Bernardino, California

and more particularly described as Lot 31, Tract 5819, Book 72,
24
page 17.

SECTION 2. I£ said sum is not fully paid to the City
Zlerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the
passage of this Resolution, then said sum shall be and become a
Lien on said property pursuant to said Municipal Code and applica-
ble laws and shall be collected as a special assessment thereon.
SECTION 3. In the event said sum is not paid as herein-
above provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certi-
fied copies of this Resolution with the Recorder and the Auditor
of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing
that said sum be entered as lien charges against said property
as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same
penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes
for the City of San Bernardino are collected..
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino at a regular meetingthereof, held
on the 1st day of Marche , 1982, by the following
ote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Castaneda, Reilly, Hernandez,
Botts Quiel;'Hobbs
NAYS: None
ABSENT: Council' Member Strickler '
