~ITY OF SAN BER~DINO - REQUEST lOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
APPROVAL OF $950 FROM THIRD
WARD PARK EXTENSION FUNDS FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF A TELEVISION FOR LYTLE
CREEK COMMUNITY CENTER.
The acquisition of a television for Lytle Creek Center
would enable the staff to meet a wider range of interest
for the center patrons. The T.V. would be used primarily
by the seniors who patronize the facility for the Senior
Nutri tion Program and other senior programs. The unit to
be selected includes a built-in VCR which will allow for
the viewing of informational programs. Educational
programs for children can also be viewed on an occasional
basis. Several of the city's community centers also have
television sets. The T.V. for Lytle Creek was
recommended by the Lytle Creek Center Advisory Board.
This request has been coordinated with the Council
Office.
