Background: Chapter 5.04.076 of the San Bernardino Municipal Code authorizes the city to impose liens on the real property described as Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for uncollected business registration fees and all future fees and penalties. Financial Impact: ~j None Recommendation: That the heazing be closed; that the City Clerk be directed to administratively remove any properties from Exhibit "A" which have been paid prior to the hearing; and that said resolution be adopted. ~.r 2 3 RESOLUTION NO. 4 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS ON 5 CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO FOR UNCOLLECTED BUSINESS REGISTRATION FEES. 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 7 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 8 SECTION 1. The City of San Bemazdino, pursuant to its authority under San 9 Bemazdino Municipal Code Chapter 5.04.076 does hereby impose liens on the real property 10 11 described as Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for 12 uncollected business registration fees and all future fees and penalties. 13 Due notice was given to the person or persons having an interest in said property ~". 14 and a hearing was held by the Mayor and Common Council to heaz protests and to assess the fir' 15 fees imposed on said property. 16 SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor and Common 17 18 Council for confirmation of the imposition of the liens imposed, the following fees aze 19 found to have been uncollectible after proper notification to the. property/business owner 20 pwsuant to proceedings under said provisions of the San Bemazdino Municipal Code.
