RESOLUTION NO. 82-200
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING A LIEN ON
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE. (1323 West
Congress, San Bernardino, California.)
WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its
authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28 and
other laws did lawfully cause a public nuisance to be abated on
Project No. 1391 on the 16th day of July, ,
19 73 , on the real property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, due notice was given to the person or persons
having an interest in said property and a hearing was held to
hear protests and to assess the costs of said abatement on said
property on the _ 3rd day of May , 1982
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BER1gARDIN0 AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The hearing is closed; the costs are found to
have been duly incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under
said San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter; and the final state-
ment of costs on file with the City Clerk is hereby confirmed and
adopted as a special assessment in the sum of One hundred
thirty-one dollars and sixty-eight cents ($131.68)
against the property known as 1323 West Congress, San Bernardino,
California
and more particularly described as: Murphy & Payne Sub., Lot 7,
Block B, Book 4, page 27.

SECTION 2. if said sum is not fully paid to the City
4 Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the
5 passage of this Resolution, then said sum shall be and become a
6 lien on said property pursuant to said Municipal Code and applica-i
7 ble laws and shall be collected as a special assessment thereon.
g SECTION 3. In the event said sum is not paid as herein -
9 above provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certi-
10 fied copies of this Resolution with the Recorder and the Auditor
11 of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing
12 that said sum be entered as lien charges against said property
13 as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
14 at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same
15 penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes
16 for the City of San Bernardino are collected.
17 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
18 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
19 Bernardino at a re4ular meeting thereof, held
20 on the 3rd day of May , 19821 by the following
21 vote, to wit:
22 AYES: Council Members Castaneda Reilly Quiel
23 Hobbs, Strickler.
24 NAYS: None
25 ABSENT: Council Members Hernandez, Botts
