2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING A LIEN ON
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
3 FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE. (500 and 522
North E Street, San Bernardino, California.)

WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its
5
authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter 15.28 and
6
other laws did lawfully cause a public nuisance to be abated on
7
Project No. 1177 on the 22nd day of January ,
8
19 82 on the real property hereinafter described; and
9
WHEREAS, due notice was given to the person or persons
10
having an interest in said property and a hearing was held to
11
hear protests and to assess the costs of said abatement on said
12
property on the 3rd day of May , 1982
13
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
14
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The hearing is closed; the costs are found to
16
have been duly incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under
17
said San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapter; and the final state -
18
ment of costs on file with the City Clerk is hereby confirmed and
19
adopted as a special assessment in the sum of two thousand,
20
four hundred and nine dollars and thirty --three cents ($2,409.33)
21
against the property known as 500 and 522 North E Street,
22
San Bernardino California

and more particularly described as : See Exhibit "B", a copy of
24
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as
25
fully as though set forth at length.

3 SECTION 2. If said sum is not fully paid to the City
4 Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the
S passage of this Resolution, then said sum shall be and become a
6 lien on said property pursuant to said Municipal Code and applica-
7 ble laws and shall be collected as a special assessment thereon.
8 SECTION 3. In the event said sum is not paid as herein -
9 above provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certi-
30 fied copies of this Resolution with the Recorder and the Auditor
11 of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing
12 that said sum be entered as lien charges against said property
13 as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
14 at the same time and in the same manner, subject to the same
15 penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes
16 for the City of San Bernardino are collected.
17 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
18 adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
19 Bernardino at a regularmeeting thereof, held
20 on the 3rd day of May , 1982, by the following
21 vote, to wit:
