HomeMy WebLinkAbout1982-1921 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 RESOLUTION NO. 82-192 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE REVIEW APPRAISER'S DETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE LAND AND BUILDINGS LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SPRUCE STREET AND MT. VERNON AVENUE, SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA, AND CERTIFYING THE WORK OF THE APPRAISERS. WHEREAS, City of San Bernardino is contemplating the purchase of two buildings and a parking lot at the Northeast corner of Spruce Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue, in the City of San Bernardino; and WHEREAS, Ralph C. and Nancy V. Monge and Fidel and Gloria Aguirre are the owners of the lots and parcels of real property and buildings situated thereon; and WHEREAS, the City desires to now purchase the said lots and parcels of real property and buildings; and WHEREAS, City has reviewed the appraiser's determination of the fair market value of the land and buildings thereon and his reports thereon and has specifically reviewed and studied the review appraiser's determination of the fair market value and his report thereon; and WHEREAS, the City intends to purchase said lots and parcels of real property and buildings with Community Development funds, FOLLOWS: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL AS 1. That said lots and parcels of real property and buildings situa- ted thereon owned by Ralph C. Monge and Nancy V. Monge and Fidel Aguirre and Gloria Aguirre and situated in the City of San Bernardino at 553, 553'-2 and 567 North Mt. Vernon Avenue are described as follows: All that real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California, described as follows: All of Lots 14, 15 and 16, Block 6, Garner Subdivision, as per plat thereof recorded in Book 3 of Maps, page 77, records of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of California. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 are hereby determined, based upon all of the appraisers' reports submitted herewith, to have a fair market value of $160,000, and said amount is hereby established as the fair market value for said property. 2. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that the work of the appraiser and the review appraiser with respect to the lots and parcels of real property and buildings situated thereon has been performed in a com- petent manner in accordance with the applicable State law, the Act, and Depart- ment of Housing and Urban Development policies and requirements.
